Is my privacy protected at Nucleus Clinic?
At Nucleus Clinic, we strongly believe in and follow the guidelines of patient confidentiality rights according to HIPAA. Everyone at Nucleus Clinic is guaranteed the right to confidential medical services. In most cases, information about you cannot be shared with anyone without your written permission. Most common exceptions to this rule are:

We must report child abuse.

We are required to report certain STIs to the Minnesota Department of Health.

Any serious health threat to a minor must be reported to a parent/guardian.

We must comply with court ordered subpoenas or other legal documents.
